About

Bell's Homestead

Our Homestead

Bell's Homestead was purchased in 2020 as part of my plan to live on the land with all my animals. I have been fortunate to have a long career in the animal industry and have gained many qualifications throughout my career including Vet Nursing.

The homestead is over 30 acres of beautiful Queensland. The property has 10 acres of cleared land including the homestead, kennels, grooming shed, hydrobaths, birthing rooms and beautiful grass fields.

But the property also has two dams for the dogs to enjoy a swim on hot days and over 20 acres of bushland to roam within the grounds of the homestead.

It truly is the Australia Dream and gods country out hear in Bell's Homestead and beautiful Queensland

Our Story

Registered Breeder

Registered with Australia Designer breeders of Companion  animals (ADBC) - Registered Breeder #2572

My love for dogs began about 30 years ago, when I studied to become a vet nurse. After spending most my life working with animals from vet nursing to running puppy preschool classes and managing a number of animal shelters and rehoming programs.

During this time I took the time to learn and study as much as possible including; vet nursing, microchip implanting  (I am a registered microchip implanter), canine behaviour, psychology, canine nutrition, and I have completed a lot of short courses.

Now semi-retired, I've moved out to the homestead  taking my passion for animals and socially responsible breeding to the farm with me. I am registered with Australian Designer Breeders of companion pets (ADBC). And bound by the code of ethics set by them.

We are a small breeder, but we breed for temperament, personality, and health. My dogs are my family and I raise them all in a family environment.
